Welcome to the Kansas INT home page. As we drill down to the final tournament day, we wanted to thank those that participated through some of the challenges that mother nature threw at us this year. Through the tough rainy days everyone still had a smile on their face and many stories to tell. Many got to know each other just a little better under a canopy when there was nothing better to do.
We wanted to give a big thanks to Kelley Lytle for taking pictures for us to put on our picture section of our site. Take a look you just might find yourself.
Riffles
State Championships
The State Championship is still open to anyone that wants to participate. Just need to make sure you have an INT membership and that days registration. Registration will begin at 7:00 am and competition will begin at 8:00am. We will start the day off with water skiing and follow up with wakeboarding, wakeskate and kneeboarding. The days winners will be announce and then we will crown our State Champions.
Pot luck party will be just like in the past with Don Wettstein smoking meat all day and all we ask of you is to bring a side dish and the meat is on us. Those that have attended this will tell you that Don makes it worth sticking around for.
Weather
In the event that we have inclimate weather like the last two tournament weekends and not allowed to start until late we will take the top 4 people in each class. We apologize for this but hopefully mother nature is done throwing bad weather at us.
US Championships
State Champion will be given the opportunity to compete and represent the state of Kansas at the United States Championships. Those that have had the opportunity to do this will tell you this is a great experience and a lot of fun meeting people from all over the country. Due to availability, please check with us to see what empty spots we have available if you did not win first place.
Giveaway
Last season we started an end of season giveaway. In order to participate in this program, we just ask you to spend your dollars with our sponsors. For every $50.00 you spend you will receive one ticket for the raffle. Max tickets for any given purchase is 20 tickets. Please remember to always support our sponsors and anytime you make that purchase, please let them know you are a member of the Kansas INT. We will be anouncing the winner at the State Championships, so bring your receipts you just might win. If you have any questions on this please contact us.
Volunteers
The Riffle’s would like to give a big thanks to those who have helped make the 2008 season such a success. Getting it done after starting so late on a few day is a true statement of just how awesome each everyone of you have been. If you are interested in helping with the 2009 season, please let us know. Our events would not be possible if not for the gracious volunteers who judge, drive, set up and tear down, wash the boats, help in registration, dock start, etc. This is a great way to meet new people and be apart of something.
