We have a conference call with our staff on Tuesday 4-29, they are going to have two questions:
Why don’t our passwords work on www.intleagues.com/admin
Why do I keep getting an internal error?

Images- When I insert an image into a page, the title of the image goes to the top of the page. We don’t want that to happen. It looks dumb.

The third navigation bar is working, but they are not going to the right pages. Try to open one of the Trick lists, it goes to a page of all of the content on our website instead of the trick lists.

How to put your Local Sponsors Logos on the Left -

Create New Page- Name it: Kansas Sponsors

Make sure these setting are correct:

Published

Template - Sponsors

Author- Kansas

Parent- Main (no parent)

Then you can upload your sponsor logos and they will appear on the left of all of your pages.

Putting the Logos in a Box

A white box is attached, use a graphic editor to import your logos into the template, save and put them on the website. We use Macromedia Fireworks, you can download a free trial of that or you can use Photoshop.

If you are using Fireworks: Open the template in Fireworks.
Select File, Import, Browse and find the sponsor logo, Open.
Put your curser in the box and hold right click on your mouse, and drag the image until it is the right size.
You can use your arrows to center the image.
When it looks right. File, Save as- Save the new image.
Now all you have to do it upload it to the website. - See the directions below

If you are not savy with graphic editing, send Jac sponsor logos and she will format them for you.

Getting Started: This page has been done for you. Feel free to add to it, but please lets just leave it alone for now. If you have a better idea please let us know.

Sponsors:

Your sponsors should be listed in alphabetical order, or in order of Sponsorship Level, ex: Gold, Silver, Bronze. You should include their Name, Web Address, Phone Number, and Physical address.

Write a short description of each sponsor, include the products that they offer.

Logos- Email Jac the company logo and the logo can be formatted into a white box to be put on your state pages.

Newsletter:

This section is reserved for a subscriber form

Tips

 Most people only click 3 times while in a website
 Pages should be kept to an average screen size, people don’t always scroll down they leave the page

Spacing

Having problems with too much space between your lines? Try holding the shift key while you hit enter. This will single space your lines.

Misbehaving Fonts and Colors

To get the text to behave after it starts changing fonts and colors on you , you can copy and cut the entire body of text (or the portion that is misbehaving plus a few lines above it), and paste it into the program called “notepad,” to clean it up. Notepad takes the formatting out of the text. Then recopy and paste it back into your body of text. You’ll have to redo a few formatting things like bold and italics. The formatting code is usually above the text so you have to cut text far enough back to get that code.

Sponsor Logos on Sponsor Page and Text

To get the text to line up next to the image, click on the existing image and then click the “right align” button usually used for aligning text. After I clicked “right align” the text wrapped around the image. Then I clicked “left align” to get the image to line up, back on the left side.
